Winter Catering for the Holidays from Aioli

The holidays are here, and along with good tidings and cheer comes a never-ending list of chores and expenses! Cleaning, shopping, cooking, decorating, and even more cleaning—it makes us tired just thinking about it! And while we can’t help with the cleaning or the shopping, the one thing we are really good at is cooking, so when it’s time to plan your next get-together, why not take advantage of our willingness to help and hire Aioli Gourmet Burgers for your holiday winter catering? We’ll do the hard work, freeing you up to enjoy the quiet moments of the holidays that make it all worthwhile!

Who Doesn’t Love a Good Burger?

Even die-hard vegetarians will appreciate the burgers we offer for your holiday celebration, because we know that not all delicious burgers have to include meat. Our vegetarian falafel burger is always a huge hit, even for the carnivores in your group,as it offers a flavor that is distinctly unique and 100% wonderful.

Because choices are important in life, your first choice will be the type of winter catering service you want. You can choose from a fully-catered meal where we do the set up or the novel experience of having one of our food trucks magically appear at your event.

Once that decision has been made, your guests will be humming Christmas carols as they ponder the very important choices they have ahead of them. Do they want to create their own masterpiece or stick with the safe choice and choose one of our standard burgers for their epicurean delights? Featuring a selection of Kobe beef burgers, the aforementioned falafel burgers, and for those who prefer white meat, we also offer chicken; the foundation of every great burger starts with the meat, and our options are prime!

And as your guests accessorize their burgers with their favorite toppings, you can feel proud and satisfied that the meal you are offering is not just delicious, but healthy as well; our produce is organic and locally-sourced, our cheeses are fresh and creamy, and our brioche buns are the perfect accompaniment. We even offer a gluten-free option to ensure that every taste is met!

Enjoy Your Winter Party with Winter Catering by Aioli Gourmet Burgers

There are times when silence is golden, but your holiday celebration is not one of those times; our burgers will keep the conversation going (except during bites, of course!) and the merriment lasting. Book us for your winter holiday event before it’s too late!

Introducing French Onion Burgers in Phoenix

In honor of France winning the World Cup, we at Aioli Burger proudly present the French Onion Burger!

Starting with the highest quality beef, our head chef, Thomas D’Ambrosio brings over a decade of fine dining into our burgers in Phoenix. From there we layer on fresh caramelized onions, savory beef demi-glace, firm Swiss cheese, mild chives, and sharp Parmesan crisp. For the finishing touch, we drizzle the burger with white truffle aioli to give it that final authentic French touch. This burger is another Aioli Burger classic, so be sure to stop by and try yours today!

Balanced, Powerful Flavors

The French Onion Burger is a perfect mix of savory and sharp, crunchy and smooth, with the salty, yet sweet crunch of the caramelized onions melding perfectly with the savory smoothness of the demi-glace. Likewise, the melding of flavors of the various cheeses work perfectly together to create just the right amount of body for your dining experience. With the mild taste of the chives acting as the middle ground in this flavor medley, every aspect of this amazing burger truly shines. Chef Tom’s skill in the kitchen shows in every aspect of the French Onion Burger, resulting in a truly amazing option for lunch or dinner! Pair this with a side of our amazing golden French fries or sweet potato fries, and you have a match made in burger heaven.

Aioli Burgers has the Best Burger of 2017 and Still Going Strong

From the New Times:

Time was, you had to manage to catch the Aioli Burger food truck around town if you wanted one of their award-winning hamburgers. Then, at the end of 2016, the good people of Phoenix caught a break when a brick-and-mortar location opened in north central Phoenix. Now, we always know where to find specialties like the Italiano Burger with its mozzarella, balsamic reduction, and crispy pancetta, or the Black & Blue, which comes with blue cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. And the burgers aren’t the only thing we crave on the menu; the warm pretzel bites and burrata caprese salad are two starters we never say no to. There’s something for everyone at Aioli, from a falafel burger for the herbivores and to-die-for shakes and floats to an appealing kids’ menu and even a snack for four-legged patrons.

One of the Co Creators of Aioli gets featured on VoyagePhoenix! See what answers he gives when asked about how he started Aioli Burger up and what he went through to be so passionate.

Kyle: Aioli Gourmet Burgers was created by three lifelong friends. Michael, Chef Tom, and I. I had a heavy sales background, Michael was a finance major and Chef Tom was a Culinary Institute of American Grad. We started with one food truck and have grown to three trucks and now our restaurant on 32nd St and Shea.

BURGER BATTLE TIME!

Yes, it’s that time of the year where 12 of Arizona’s best chefs come together to battle for the prize of best burger concept. Two top awards will be presented this year. The first award will be the “People’s Choice Award.” All attendees will be given a token and at the end of the event the token is used to vote for their favorite burger. The Second is the “Judge’s Choice award.” This years judges are Chef Mel Mecinas, Chef Chris Neff (Food & Beverage Writer), Christina Barruta, and Suzanne Clark (World Pasta Champion). After, the two winners will travel to Alabama to compete in the World Burger Battle competition.

History of Aioli & The Burger Battle
A lot of people might not know, but the Burger Battle is one of the events that put Aioli on the map and spring boarded Chef Tom into local celebrity status. When invited for the first time in late 2015, a food truck had never participated in the prestigious burger event. Entering as an underdog in the event, Aioli surprised everyone with the “Italiano” burger and won “people’s choice award.” After winning the golden ticket (literally, it’s a golden ticket), they traveled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the World Burger Battle. A lot has changed since 2015, especially the attendance. After last years early sell out at the Hotel Valley Ho, the venue has been moved to Scottsdale Waterfront to accommodate more people, and burgers!

“Secret up my Sleeve” Last Saturday Chef Tom gave a presentation for a local news channel where he displayed one of his award winning California Burger concepts. The interviewers were excited when they found out that Chef Tom had a secret up his sleeve for this year’s event. Earlier today, I spoke with Chef in the kitchen where he was cooking up a storm in preparation for the contest (while listening to eye of the tiger). “I can’t give out the details, but I can tell you it is going to be a crowd pleaser.” So there you have it folks, Chef Tom is going to reinvent the burger game.

Community Excitement
“We still have a lot of work to do before March 9th, but we’ll be ready. Walking into the restaurant, its clear that there is excitement in the air. As the days wind down to the big event, people are asking about what the new burger will be and whether it will be on the menu. Unfortunately, we can’t say just yet (smiling). Honestly, these types of events are what we are all about. Not only are events like the Burger Battle a lot of fun, but also it gives us a chance to represent our community, and the people who helped build us.” Co-Owner & Director of Marketing- Kyle Hollenbeck

Phoenix Catering

Within the past year we have exploded into a company that has 2 concepts (Aioli Gourmet Burgers, Modern Tortilla), a restaurant, and a full catering division.

How did Aioli Catering begin?
After Chef Tom D’Ambrosio graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, he was tapped to work as an apprentice lead chef at The Greenbrier. Being as the Greenbrier is one of the most exclusive luxury resorts in the United States, expectations for culinary expertise are second to none. For years Chef Tom honed his skills preparing meals for Royalty, Congressmen, and Foreign Diplomats.

Doing what he does best
Chef Tom Preparing a 4 course meal at The GreenBrier

In Late 2013, Chef Tom left The Greenbrier in pursuit of his childhood dream of serving the community he was from. Within a month of being back in Phoenix, AZ, Tom, along with a few life long friends opened up their first food truck (Aioli Gourmet Burger). A Concept that has been raved throughout the valley for the past 3 years and a one of the most successful food truck operations in the Southwestern United States.

Okay, back on track:
With the huge success of the food truck, people wanted more and constantly inquired about catering services. This was something that was not originally a part of the plan, but hey “we’re not complaining.” In fact I was next to Tom in early 2014, when he Co-Owner Kyle Hollenbeck received a phone call about catering a corporate event. Kyle placed his hand over the mouthpiece and quietly asked Chef Tom whether they could pull it off…Tom’s eyes lit up…and the rest was history.

“The real magic happens when people provide Chef Tom and idea of what they are looking for and give him the creative freedom to fill in the gaps. That’s when you see the passion come through. It’s truly a mixture of love, art, ninja-like movements, a touch of madness…and a whole lot of skill. To put it simply…he gets in the zone.” –Jesse Keller

Fast Forward
Nearly 3 years later, Aioli Gourmet has catered hundreds of events throughout Arizona. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner…Rain, Sleet or Snow…You name the event…we’ve probably been there.

Aioli is very excited to be coming back to the Scottsdale Culinary Festival: Chocolate & Wine Experience (January 27th 2017). At the event, Aioli’s very own Chef Tom D’Ambrosio will be collaborating with Grand Canyon Brewing Company in a pairing they believe will be the talk of the town. The pairing will consist of Aioli’s award winning Smores Brioche Bread pudding and Grand Canyon Brewing Company’s American Brown Ale (“Muddy Waters”).

Chef Tom:
“We’re very excited to be paring with Grand Canyon Brewing company. The Muddy Waters (chocolate beer) pairs exceptionally well with our bread pudding. Honestly, what is better than chocolate, beer, and serving the community!?”
