HOW IT ALL STARTED

Three life-long friends started Aioli Gourmet Burgers and Catering with one thing in mind: to serve quality food to our home-town and become one of the best burger joints in Phoenix. Each member brought different skills to the table, allowing them to turn their life-long dream of owning a restaurant into a reality.

MEET OUR TEAM

Tommy D’Ambrosio

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Chef Tommy D’Ambrosio is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America and has over a decade of fine dining experience. He was also crowned Chopped Champion on The Food Network in January of 2019 on the episode Tacos & Tequila!

Being born and raised in Arizona, Chef Tommy was happy to come back to his hometown and start, own, and operate one of the fastest growing food truck experiences in Arizona. Chef Tommy has also lead Aioli brand into the winners’ circle of state & national competitions such as Arizona’s Burger Battle, Phoenix Devoured, and Scottsdale Culinary Classic Events.

Aioli Gourmet Burgers and Catering started with a food truck and something delicious to deliver; it has now grown into multiple food trucks, fully catered experiences, and one of the best burger joints in Phoenix located at 32nd Street & Shea in Paradise Valley!

Kyle Hollenbeck

DIRECTOR OF SALES

Kyle is a founding member and Director of Sales for Aioli Gourmet Burgers. Growing up with the other two partners in the Shadow Mountain area was a big reason Kyle wanted to have the first Aioli Burgers location near the school.

He will help work with you on any food truck or catering bookings, and you will see him around the restaurant as he works out of there. Kyle wants to always make sure you have the best experience when dining with us and/or having us cater your special event.

Vicktor Velez

SOUS CHEF

Vicktor Velez has been working under the guidance of Chef Beau MacMillan at Elements at the Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain for the past 4 years. With over six years of experience in the industry under the tutelage of esteemed chefs such as multiple James Beard Award Finalist Kevin Binkley and the Greenbrier Apprenticeship alumni Thomas D’ Ambrosio, Vicktor developed a sense of adaptability, speed, and a passion for fresh seasonal produce sourced locally. Vicktor seeks opportunities to create incredible memories utilizing his passion-driven mastery of building taste, texture, and aroma of every dish served.

Vivianna D’Ambrosio

EVENT SALES MANAGER

Vivianna D’Ambrosio was born and raised in a large Italian family in Westchester, New York. She started cooking with her grand mother in the kitchen at a very young age which sparked her passion for food and cooking. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America she worked at The Greenbrier, Americas Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia under some of the most talented chefs but she soon realized that she had a deeper passion for front of house operations. She moved to Arizona with her husband Tom D’Ambrosio and continued to work at resorts in the valley which eventually led her into event planning and sales. She is excited and eager to create your next food truck event!

Karen Schwirian

GUEST EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

Karen Schwirian grew up in New Jersey and traveled around the country working in fine dining restaurants and 4 diamond hotels. She worked with Phoenix Children Hospital and the Paradise valley School district while her boys were growing up. Once they graduated Shadow Mountain High School, she joined in the opening of Aioli Gourmet Burgers brick and mortar restaurant which was just down the street! She was so excited to be a part of a “mom and pop” restaurant in the “Sheaborhood”. She is immensely proud of the amazing evolution she has seen. You can find Karen caring for her guests as if they were her friends and family at the 32nd street and shea location.

Paola Valenza

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Paola is the Administrative Assistant for Aioli Gourmet Burgers. Her position encompasses everything from human resources to customer service. She personally makes sure that each client’s expectations have been met with each event. She is a native New Yorker who has recently moved to Arizona to live near her daughter and son-in-law.
