How It All Happened
Three life-long friends started Aioli Gourmet Burgers and Catering with one thing in mind: to serve quality food to our home-town. Each member brought different skills to the table, allowing them to turn their life-long dream of owning a restaurant into a reality.
Chef Thomas D’Ambrosio is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America, and has over a decade of fine dining experience. He completed his apprenticeship at the Greenbrier in West Virginia. This was under certified Master Chef Richard Rosendale (as seen on “Recipe Rehab” on CBS). Chef Thomas competed in a post-secondary Skills USA competition in Kansas City, where he placed first place in the nation.
Being born and raised in Arizona, Chef Thomas was happy to come back to his home-town and start, own, and operate one of the fastest growing food trucks in Arizona during 2014 and 2015. Chef Thomas also graduated from NAU with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Restaurant Management in 2009.
Aioli Gourmet Burgers and Catering is happy to share Chef Thomas’ creative culinary expertise with the neighbors he grew up with at our new 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard location.
Kyle Hollenbeck has been working in the restaurant industry for many years, even while still in high school, and has always had the dream of owning and operating his own one day. Kyle has also worked in sales and marketing for over a decade. He is now one of the proud owners of two food truck companies .
After graduating from Shadow Mountain High School with both of his business partners, Michael studied Business Administration at Northern Arizona University.
